CRYOPRESERVATION & FROZEN EMBRYO TRANSFER (FET)
Sperm Cryopreservation | Sperm Freezing | Sperm Freezing Cost India
Any surplus embryos produced from an IVF or ICSI treatment cycle, which are of sufficiently good quality and are not transferred to the womb in the fresh treatment cycle, can be frozen. These embryos can be transferred to the womb in a subsequent cycle (called frozen embryo transfer), thus avoiding the need to go through the whole process of stimulation and egg retrieval again.
An FET involves administration of some drugs to prepare the womb, and serial monitoring to determine the right time for embryo transfer.
